Why is being able to do a Burpee so important for your health?

It has become more apparent that in our society we are much less capable of basic human movement. Our fast-paced, hi-tech lives have made us lazier than ever. The human way is to figure out ways to make tasks easier, this is great to some extent, but has left us in a very unhealthy physical and mental state. 

So, what does this have to do with being able to do a Burpee? Every human being should have the basic ability to get off the ground. But many can not. 

You may ask, why do I need that ability? Being prepared for what life can throw at you is essential. Nature doesn’t care or have any real rules, things happen. 

You fall down, you need to get up! 
Get up without the assistance of another person or object. What if you fall down in the street and need to get up quickly? The burpee can literally save your life.

Start Somewhere…
Use assistance at first, work on kneeling down and a chair, whatever works. Eventually, you will be able to do this without any assistance.
