What is the best way to get in shape in your 40’s?

Believe it, I know what it’s like to be out of shape. Some years ago, I let myself go. I stopped working out, stopped caring about what I ate or drank. I was chewing tobacco, and stressed out. I blamed my circumstances.
I Don’t have enough time….
You’re right…. Well not exactly. You have the same 24hrs as everyone else. Here’s the thing, if it’s important to you, figure it out.
Today, I’m in the best shape of my life at 46!
How do I do it?
I show up on a consistent basis, I give my best effort and I “eat to live”. I keep the alcohol to a minimum (once per week), I drink a minimum of 100oz water each day, eating real food 4-5x’s per day and I get roughly 7-8 hours of sleep each night.
This is a pretty simple plan, anyone can do this if they choose to and it’s never too late to start. Make yourself a priority, pay now in your time and effort rather than paying later in sickness, disease and medications later.
Yes, of course, there are details here I am leaving out. Because what works for me, may not be exactly what will work for you. You must learn new habits, take initiative to better yourself. By taking this interest, you will attract that very thing in your life.
